This location is known as River Kunhar which is 166 KM long river and located in the KPK (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) province, Northern Pakistan which is Situated in Masehra Division and Balakot Area. It is in the Indus River basin. This river is generated through the melted Glaciers and Streams. It originates from the upper Kaghan Velly's Dharamsar lake and it includes water of Saifulmalook Lake and Dudipatsar lake. It flows in entire Kaghan Velly and then enters in Nainsukh velly from Balakot. The river confluences with Jehlum River at point Rarah. The main source of this river is Lulusar Lake.
